Remembra is a birthday and anniversary reminder app that helps you remember important dates and create personalized greeting cards.
When you create an account in Remembra (required only to download content from our online library), we collect:
An account is optional. You can use most of the App's core features (events, reminders, greeting cards) without creating an account.
The following data is stored only on your device (in the App's local database) and is never sent to our servers:
Remembra includes an optional "Import from contacts" feature. When you choose to use it, the App reads your device's contact list locally, on your device only, so you can pick a person for an event. The App accesses only the contact's name, phone number, and photo for this purpose.
The contact information you select is saved only on your device together with your event. It is never transmitted to our servers and is never shared with any third party. We do not upload, store, or process your contact list on our side. You can use the App without granting contacts access.
When you choose to add a photo, video, or audio file (for example, to a greeting card or as a reminder sound), the App accesses your device's media locally, only for the file you select. These files stay on your device and are never sent to our servers.
If you choose to enable Google Calendar synchronization, the App reads your calendar list and writes your Remembra events into the calendar you select. This happens directly through your device's calendar and your own Google account. We do not receive, store, or process your calendar data on our servers.

Remembra can help you send greeting messages via SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, or Facebook Messenger. The App does not send any message automatically or in the background. Instead, when you choose to send a greeting, the App opens your selected messaging application (your device's SMS app, WhatsApp, etc.) with the recipient and message pre-filled. You review the message and decide whether to send it by pressing send yourself. Remembra never sends messages on your behalf without your explicit action.
Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment information (credit card, bank account, etc.). All payment data is handled by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy.
We only receive confirmation that you have an active subscription, which unlocks premium features in the App.
Remembra connects to our content servers (emotiva.cloud) to download:
These connections only transmit content from our server to your device. No personal data is sent during these requests other than your IP address (used by the server temporarily to deliver content, not logged or tracked) and, if you are logged in, an authentication token that identifies your account.
Visual content (backgrounds, stickers, illustrations) is generated using Adobe Firefly. Fonts and icons are provided by Google Fonts and Google Material Icons, used under their respective open licenses.
We keep your account data (name, email, encrypted password) for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time, and we will permanently remove your data within 30 days of the deletion request. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete it in the App or uninstall the App.

When you choose to send a greeting message, the App may open third-party messaging apps (your SMS app, WhatsApp, Telegram, or Facebook Messenger) that you already have installed. Your use of those apps is governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control or receive data from them.
